Full coverage in one visit — every slope, valley, parapet and roof penetration photographed from directly above, including the areas nobody can safely walk on.

No foot traffic on the membrane — walking a wet or aging torch-on roof can damage it. A drone puts no weight on the roof at all.

No ladders, no scaffolding, no disruption — nothing gets set up against the building, and residents or staff carry on with their day.

Evidence you can hand over — dated, high-resolution images for a strata council package, an insurance claim, or a purchase negotiation.

Detail you cannot get from the ground — ponding water, blocked drains, lifted flashing, split seams and failed sealant are obvious from above and close to invisible from the street.

Flying commercially in Canada is regulated, and it matters more here than in most cities. Much of Metro Vancouver sits inside controlled airspace around YVR, and flying there legally requires a Transport Canada Advanced RPAS certificate. Our pilot holds that certification and has more than eight years of flying behind it.

Advanced certification is also what allows us to operate close to buildings and near people rather than being forced to keep our distance. That is the difference between a survey that actually shows your roof and one that shows the neighbourhood with your roof somewhere in it.

There is a practical advantage to having your roofer fly the drone too. If the survey turns up a problem, the people reviewing the images are the same people who would carry out the repair — you are not handing a folder of photos to a stranger and hoping they read them correctly.
